Merriest of Christmases!

Christmas Day is here.  I hope every person that has read my blog or even heard the words Effortless Girl this year has the best Christmas Day.  It’s easy to get caught up in the flying wrapping paper and the insane bustle of the season – but today marks the culmination of all of that craziness.  It is the day to pause and take a minute to reflect on the year and what you perceive your blessings to be.  I’ll be honest, it can be a double edged sword for some people.  It is truly “the most wonderful time of the year,” but depending on your circumstances, sometimes it doesn’t feel that way.  If you’ve had a hard year or if you’re going through something really difficult, it’s tough to watch the happy celebrations around you.  I know because I’ve been there.  Not every Christmas is merry and bright.  But every Christmas marks a potential new beginning.  It is a chance for a fresh start – maybe the start of something amazing!  This is the season for all things new where hope springs eternal – for everyone!   No matter where you are this Christmas, I hope you’re warm, fed, loved, and surrounded with people you love (or at least like).  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and thanks for being the most amazing blog readers ever.

Merry Christmas!

Below is my favorite video of the Christmas story.  I won’t get all preachy, but I’ll encourage you to check it out…..

Merry Christmas Y’all!
