If I didn’t have a moral obligation to actually give this gift away in this week’s giveaway, I would snag it for myself.  This week CardsandPockets.com is partnering with Effortless and Exquisite to give one lucky blog follower a $50.00 gift card for use on their website. All you have to do is be a registered follower of EffortlessandExquisite! This is a super exciting giveaway for me.  Cards and Pockets is my favorite website for beautiful papers and envelopes of all colors, textures, shapes, and sizes!  I purchased my wedding invitation paper from this site and I was extremely happy with my selections.  The winner will not be disappointed, $50.00 goes a long way on this site.

Cards and Pockets is a great resource when you have a need for quality paper.  They have free templates and How-To tutorials for all things paper for creating beautiful invitations and such.  There are many, many paper colors and prints.  Special requests are easy; if you want a printed liner for an envelope, they’ve got you covered.  The site offers custom printing for a reasonable cost and customer service reps that answer (my many) questions.  The site is user friendly also.  I am a paper nut so I love to browse the site and get cute ideas for projects.
One of my favorite things about the site is the COLOR!  First, new paper colors are constantly being updated.  There are new colors for 2014 that are beautiful.  I picked out my favorites which are mostly pastels but it is so hard to choose because I liked them all.  They are perfect for summer invites or crafts.  I am freakishly obsessed with pink and green so of course they made the cut.
Who doesn’t love cotton candy?

I like the green because it is so earthy and garden greens are so popular this season.
And who doesn’t love gumdrops?
I’m digging the lavender also.  It would make a great tea party invitation color.  A wedding shower invitation would be perfect with lavender invitations and lavender decorations.
Great Grape

I like this coral because it is clean and fresh.  This is a great baby shower shade for baby girls on the way!

This is what I did with my wedding invitation.  Our wedding was a rustic mountain wedding in late winter/early spring.  We used neutrals.  I loved the weight of the paper and my order arrived exactly right and quickly.  Everyone knows brides are testy and the invitation ordering was a cinch.  Anyone planning an event should definitely give the site a browse.  I think you’ll become a fan.
